Carlyon Cup 2012 – Final Field & Barrier Draw

The final field and barrier draw has been released for the Group 3 Carlyon Cup, which is due to run at Caulfield Racecourse this Saturday February 11, 2012.

Included in the 2012 Carlyon Cup final field is Ranger, who finished third last start to God Has Spoken in the Group 2 Cox Stakes.

Ranger has won six of his 19 race starts and has earned more than $520,000 in prize money.

The five-year-old gelding finished eighth in his last start in the Listed John Dillon Stakes on January 26.

King Diamond has won five of his 15 race starts and has earned more than $275,000 in prize money.

The Danewin gelding has drawn barrier three for the 2012 Carlyon Cup and will be ridden by jockey Danny Nikolic.

Green Moon, Manighar and Vivid Vixen are also included in the 2012 Carlyon Cup final field.
